Yesterday was soooo nice and warm. First we went out to gma Debbie's and set up the kiddie pool out there. Jack wanted to be the one to fill the pool, so gma let him hold the hose. Let me tell you, this kid LOVES the water. My mom, myself, and Jaidy laid out on a blanket right by the water, while Jack played by the water on the edge of the pool. After about an hour he worked up enough courage to actually get into the pool, and then we couldn't get him out. Only the promise of fruit snacks got him out and into the house to dry off. As soon as we got home, he had his nap, and during those precious hours I was setting up his pool for our place. Almost three hours later, my boy woke up, ran to the back door and said "WOW" -and that was it until Vic had to pry him out of the pool to go to bed last night. This morning the first thing he did was check out back to make sure the pool was still there, and proceeded to pull me to the door to open it so he could swim again. Well, sneaky mommy, drained the pool since it rained last night so when he went to get in he was slightly disappointed. It is windy today, and another storm is coming in again tonight. I think we will have to wait until Fri to play in there again. We'll see how long I can hold him off!
