Well my little stud turned 15months on the 10th. Again, I feel like time is just slipping by. I could go on and on and gush over my son, but seriously there are no words that describe a mother's love. He is a part of my soul and I feel that if anything were to happen to him, a part of myself would be lost forever. I know all you mother's know exactly what I am talking about. The love you have for your child is something so different than anything you have ever felt before your baby was placed in your arms. Happy 15 months, handsome.
Jack is still taking after his daddy. He is very tall and thin, on paper. In truth he weighs a lot more than most 15 month old, but he is so stinkin tall that on paper it puts him in the 25th percentile for weight. He is weighing in at 24lbs and is 32 1/2" long which puts in him the 90th % for height. He has started wearing 24month/2T clothing and is in almost a size 7 shoe. I would say we have at most 2 more months in his 6's.
He isn't talking a whole lot, yet. The doctor asked us if he is saying 3-6 words and he doesn't. All he is saying right now is Mama and Dada. They also asked if he could point out at least two body parts. Um... nope. To tell you the truth, it hasn't even crossed my mind to go over body parts with him. We read every day, all day long. I work on colors, the alphabet and numbers on a daily basis, but nope never body parts. I guess you know what we will be going over for the next few months!
