Jack and g-gma Kay playing the piano. He was going all up and down the keys, and then his foot would start tapping. It was hilarious!

Playtime with Jaidyboo

Today I was watching my niece Jaidyn, while Cathie went to school. I have never seen a more happy and smiley baby, ever! All you have to do is look at this girl and she giggles. Such a cutie! Jack is just a nut. He is so funny lately. Today we were putting Jaidyn on top on Jack, pretending they were wrestling and Jack would just drop to his tummy and look at me like "I'm done, and get this tub off of me!" I am off to New Moon girls night!! Wahoo!

15 month stats!

Well my little stud turned 15months on the 10th. Again, I feel like time is just slipping by. I could go on and on and gush over my son, but seriously there are no words that describe a mother's love. He is a part of my soul and I feel that if anything were to happen to him, a part of myself would be lost forever. I know all you mother's know exactly what I am talking about. The love you have for your child is something so different than anything you have ever felt before your baby was placed in your arms. Happy 15 months, handsome.

Jack is still taking after his daddy. He is very tall and thin, on paper. In truth he weighs a lot more than most 15 month old, but he is so stinkin tall that on paper it puts him in the 25th percentile for weight. He is weighing in at 24lbs and is 32 1/2" long which puts in him the 90th % for height. He has started wearing 24month/2T clothing and is in almost a size 7 shoe. I would say we have at most 2 more months in his 6's.

He isn't talking a whole lot, yet. The doctor asked us if he is saying 3-6 words and he doesn't. All he is saying right now is Mama and Dada. They also asked if he could point out at least two body parts. Um... nope. To tell you the truth, it hasn't even crossed my mind to go over body parts with him. We read every day, all day long. I work on colors, the alphabet and numbers on a daily basis, but nope never body parts. I guess you know what we will be going over for the next few months!

A day with daddy

Vic only works for half a day on Fridays and Jack loves it! He hears Vic coming and starts going "dadda dadda dadda!" He loves Vic so much and that melts my heart. I love watching them play together. One of Jack's favorite things is when Vic puts him on his shoulders and runs like crazy around the house, even up and down the stairs. I totally freak out, but Vic says he has it under contol. I am just waiting to see Vic biff it and the baby go flying across the room. I sound like such a mom!

Sick days

Well we finally got our H1N1 vaccines on Tues. Vic went down to the Layton conference center and picked up a card that told us to come back at 2:00pm the same day. They were holding a mass clinic for the vaccine and I feel lucky we actually were able to get the shot. It was crazy busy. There was even kids outside that had to direct traffic. It was a pretty efficient set up, though. We were in line at 2 and we were driving back home by 2:30pm. Jack did very well. He only freaked out when I had to hold his arms, he could care less about the shot. Vic and I just did the flu mist. We were both a little worried we would end up getting a little bit of the flu, but so far so good.

Jack on the other hand, caught a cold. He has no fever, and only a runny nose and little cough. Poor little guy is also cutting two teeth right now as well. He has not had the best week, but is acting like nothing is wrong. Just playing and running around as usual. Although, I can tell he is getting more wiped out more quickly. He is liking to just curl up on my lap and watch his disney movies.

He is such a little sweetheart. He is definitely not a laid back kid by any means, he is very fiesty and never stops running or climbing. You know when he disagrees with you and he can throw a horrible tantrum, but he has the best personality. He makes Vic and I laugh every day and he comes and gives me hugs and kisses on a daily basis. He is becoming more and more independent and loves to figure things out on his own. He is my world, I love him so much!

Bad mom part II

Enough said.

Halloween!

Worlds best dad, Jake and pseudo expectant mom, McKell
Jack and mamma

Pirate Jenny and me!

We had a pretty fun Halloween. We attempted to take Jack trick-or-treating, but when we went out we seemed to be the only ones out so early. We went to our friend's house and they just invited us in where the boys played and all us adults had some wine. We had such a fun and relaxing time. After leaving the Coccos's we came home and put Jack to bed then Jenny and myself finished getting ready and we headed over to Jake's house for their costume party. It was a lot of fun, just talking and reminiscing with my cousins. I would say Halloween 2009 was a success!
