We just got back from Jack's 9 month appt. All is well and as it should be. He is still my little giant, weighing in at 20.5lbs. The nurse said he outweighs most 1yr olds, but because he is so incredibly tall, 30", his percentile dropped to the 50th. He is still off the charts for height. Plus, she said it is normal for his age to start dropping the pounds cause of how active he is. All in all, he is exactly like his father: tall, thin and broad. Also, just like his dad, he eats about 7 times a day. His metabolism is out of control! The doctor said that eating that frequently is absolutely perfect for him. They did have to do a blood draw, which is routine at 9 months. I thought he would freak when they pricked his finger, but he just watched in awe as they pumped the blood out. He didn't even make a peep, just turned to look at me when they bandaged his finger up like "Do I really have to wear this, mom?" What a trooper!

Cute little guy! Isn't it funny how the band aids seem to be the worst part of getting their blood drawn or shots?
